This is the worst washer Ive ever had. The clothes do not get clean. Half the time the clothes dont even get saturated with water and everything smells of mildew. Ive had the door sealed replaced hoping that would help but the smell is awful despite cleaning the washer after each load. Do not buy this.

I purchased this washer almost 8 years ago. I never really had a problem with it except it jumping during heavy duty loads. Recently the washer started leaking and because it is out of warranty LG offered a flat rate $$$ to fix whatever the issue is. HOWEVER if the problem cant be repaired I may still be charged for the service which I think is totally unfair.

it is working great after 6 year. The only issue I had recently is the door lock strike broken in side the lock. I found the material is kind of weak. Luckily I got part replacement from Amazon within $40.

Amazing washer. We bought it in 2015 and it is working since without any problem. It has lot of useful options and settings. The clothes are coming nice and clean. I love that is has a huge capacity and I can wash the whole bedding like 2 queen size sheets duvet cover and 4 pillow cases or one queen size blanket can fit inside. I have it for 9 year now and never had any problem with mold. I quickly wipe the gasket every time I take out the clothes. This keeps mold away. I keep a towel in my laundry room just for the gasket. The towel soaks all the water inside the gasket quickly.

We bought this washer machine along with a gas drier 5 years ago they are the second set we own first set was left in a house we sold we also own an LG dishwasher and LG 7.3 cu/ft dual fuel range we are very please with LG products. The only downside is that washer machine after 5 years of household use the Display PCB Assembly fail and has to be replace I call LG customer service and they refer to Encompass company who handle replacement parts for LG unfortunately they do not have it stock I pay for since January 5 2024 and still waitingnow they said it will be ship by 01/24/2024. Hope for the best a really inconvenience specially now in winter time.

My LG washer was purchased 3.6 years ago and the lock mechanism when out. The tech replaced it but discovered that it was the actual main board that was faulty. LGs parts dept sent the tech the wrong parts TWICE Since its a stackable? I had to disconnect and remove the dryer..so now I have been out of a washer and dryer for nearly a month now Good job LG. I will never buy from LG again

Original review would have been 5 stars. Loved it - it cleaned well was quiet and efficient. A little more than four years in and it started ticking very loudly on spin. Called the service guy out and he said the bearings are going. I have anywhere from a month to 3 months left and when they do go it costs more than a new unit to fix so run it till it dies then buy a new one was his recommendation. Seriously we cant even get FIVE YEARS out of appliances anymore? If this had started happening after 9 years I probably would have been satisfied but the obscenely short lifespan and disposable attitude of major appliances these days is ridiculous. Just ridiculous.

It now seems to spin out of control making an increasing loud whine as it does so. my wife is afraid to use it and of course we cant get a repair appointment for a week. I got the washer and dryer set almost 2 years ago works great only issues that overtime it becomes unbalanced getting LG to come out and rebalance it isnt always that easy. They provide a tool so that you can adjust the legs but Im not sure how feasible this is for anybody that isnt able bodied. I am in a wheelchair and this would be an impossible task for me.

Weve had this washer for a month now. The WiFi feature that sends notifications to your phone is the best feature. We have a household of 6 and each one of us. Have the app on our phone. So whoever is doing the laundry we know they know to be prompt and go handle their loads. We even get a notification on our LG TV that the cycles are done. The cycles are very thorough when it comes to cleaning. I have a set of sheets that are very expensive that the old washer never got clean fully. The bedding cycle handles this better and without pre soaking.

bought it in January. 3 months later its breaking down would not drain. Follow all of the checkpoints online to troubleshoot it. No help the redrain it four times before they would send out a repairman. He came diagnosed the board was bad. They would not replace a machine had to wait another week and a half total of three weeks without a washing machine.

Certainly unhappy with this product. We have been following the maintenance instructions per the manual and still experienced lot of mold around the front rubber seal. The mold developed very quickly after we purchased the product and this seems like a manufacturing default. We have contacted LG last month and already opened a case but have not received any response from LG. This is a health hazard and LG is responsible for this.

After adjusting detergent amounts and adding rinse cycles this washer leaves soap on whatever is washed. After two additional rinse cycles relatively small load of light wash towels had a lot of soap left over after rinsing them by hand. Having to resort to an aging stackable adjatator type of washer that works MUCH better.

Unfortunately I regret purchasing this washer. For some odd reason it makes holes in most of our tees in the same spot. I am unable to wash cardigans because they come out like twisted pretzels and it is impossible to iron the wrinkles. I have to spend extra money to dry clean my nicer clothes so the washer wont ruin them. Lastly the moldy smell and it accumulates mold so quickly. Makes me just want to buy a new one al the time. Biggest regret.

I replaced a 15 year old LG washer that bit the dust. This new washer is a great improvement over the old especially from the vibration standpoint even during the high speed spin cycle. No more walking during the spin cycle and quieter. My only other comment is that I need to use the high speed spin to remove sufficient wetness before putting into the dryer. Very satisfied so far with this washer.
