Great product. I little more vibration than I expected but I also live in a 5th wheel so its to be expected. Drys Great for being a ventless. I was a little skeptical about the drying but it works great. Have had for about a month and have had no issues. The capacity is great too, I have put a king size blanket in and it washed and dried with no problem.

I'm very disappointed with the all in one washer & dryer It won't dry! I don't want this product any more G&E always about quality and reliability what happened? Why are you selling this product? Please help now at home depot they said I can't return I had to call 48 hours after I received the product I had to pay for installation from scratch this was on our house at the ranch and I paid for some one to do the plumbing and all that was necessary to connect the appliance,now I lost money! It doesn't work! It won't dry nothing is all damp I don't need this in my life , I will have to buy a washer and dryer separated like in the old days please Help

I would™™ve preferred a larger unit but couldn™™t fit it into a small space so this is adequate for my needs, single guy. I don™™t like bending down for a front loader so I raised it up on a platform. It does the job nicely and most cases with relatively easy loads up to an including queen flannel sheets. If I put in more than one pair of jeans or a couple of bath towels, the tends not to be completely dry dry in a normal cycle and needs extra time, up to four hours total, but this is a small price to pay for a dryer that does not need vent and uses a 110 outlet and relatively low power consumption. Loads with shirts and socks, do not vibrate, but larger loads with for example, three pairs of jeans will definitely cause vibration when first spinning off the water which lasts only 30 seconds to a minute at the most. I™™m happy with the cleaning and the choice of many cycles. Sometimes I use the soak cycle and then a quick wash which is overall quicker and yet can leave an interval in between the soaking and the washing that improves cleaning efficiency.

This unit works great. I've looked every wehre but don't see a lint filter. From what I've been able to see, the lint is collected along the door seal and I just clean the seal. But I saw that the GE Profile has a separate lint filter. But this 24" unit doesn't have a separate filter. Am i missing something?

My family and I were looking for deals on a washer and dryer, to be placed in the basement of the home we are renting. One aspect we were looking into was the size - it needed to be compact, as the stairwell to the basement is narrower than the average home (built prior to 1910). We also factored in how much work would be involved to remove it and put into a different home when we decide to move out. This one checked all the boxes: it would fit down the basement stairs, it was a combination washer/dryer (not requiring us to lug 2 separate machines back up and into a new home later) and was at a price point I had not seen on a compact unit before. We're glad we decided to go for it! I love that it can soak, steam and sanitize! Its helpful to keep in mind the three main factors influencing the time it will take to wash & dry your clothes in this combo unit: 1) its compact size can only handle a few items at a time, 2) loads must be fully dry before the next load can start washing, and 3) condenser dryers, in general, take 1.5 times longer to dry than vented options do - which means you can only fill the already compact drum 1/2 way with items if you want everything to dry properly (better make sure there aren't any towels mixed in with a clothes load or you'll have to run the dryer cycle twice!) While we love the convenience of having a combo unit (that also fit down the stairs), I don't think I would ever get one in a compact size again. I miss being able to wash my large comforters at home - those still have to be brought to a laundromat - and being able to have a quick light load fully washed and dried in under an hour.

I love the concept. I put the clothes in it washes it and then it dries it kind of like a steam clean however, when the clothes come out of the dryer after being in for 2 to 3 hours, they are still wet. I would not recommend this for anybody that has more than one person in the household, and that they don™™t care about waiting and having to hang their clothes up after they™™ve been dropped and dried. Was not impressed with it. I like my clothes dry when I take them out of the dryer.

So disappointed in this product, brought it with the hope it was going to work for more than a year. Tenant did not move in and start to use for less than year and the water is running even when it is drying. Warranty to cover is over 400 dollars and only good for a year... The GE line tried to help but even a service call is 100 plus parts and labor. SO SO DISAPPOINTED IN GE PRODUCT.

We live in a 5th wheel trailer and have always purchased the washer/dryer set. This time we decided to purchase the GE 2.4cu ft. ventless washer/dryer combo to give us more space. We just received this unit, and it was easy to set up and get started washing / drying. The first load after I washed/dried, I had to use the extra dry mode to completely dry our clothes. So far, we are enjoying this combo unit. I really like the different modes and the wash only and dry only function is a bonus. We chose GE because GE has a good history of quality appliances. I am used to small loads, so this will not be a hindrance to me. This is a good unit for a couple or small family.

Once installed, the unit does an excellent job doing the laundry. There is a wide selection of load characteristics. While in action, there was a minimum of noise and vibration. The reason for not giving it a 5 star lies in the installation. This unit was to be installed in the place of a dishwasher. The installation manual gave dimensions, but did not describe actual water and drain requirements, these are found on page 21 of the user manual. Since there had been multiple similar installations in this complex, the maintenance staff was confident that they could set up for the arrival and established the necessary water and drain attachment points. Unfortunately, when the unit arrived, the connection types did not match and the installers could not hook it up and it sat in the middle of our small kitchen. Fortunately, the maintenance staff was able to get the necessary adapters and install it the next day. Simply including the information from the user manual on the connections into the installation manual would have avoided the problem

I have had four technician visits, which has resulted in four missed days of work, and the problem still has not been resolved. At this point, I am requesting a replacement machine, as I cannot afford to miss any more days of work for additional service appointments. I do need a fully functioning dryer.

This is my second washer dryer combo so I know what to expect. Your clothes will always be a little damp unless you fill it less than half full. So just always allow time for that extra dry which is a feature I didn™™t have on my last washer and dryer combo and I really appreciate. Things that are better about a washer dryer combo is nothing shrinks and it™™s really easy not to get everything wrinkled. If you wanted your own washer and dryer I highly recommend this unit but if you can buy a large one that would be even better.

Works great, have to keep it on delicates so that way it doesn't shake itself out of the laundry area. But it washes and drys pretty good! Takes like 4 hours for a full cycle. Normal/Max spin sounds like a jet engine about to take off.

Let™™s start with the pros: 1. It™™s small and saves a lot of space in my apartment 2. Has a ton of washing and drying option. 3. The size is pretty good for 1 or 2 people. The cons, holy cow: 1. It™™s takes hoursss to finish a cycle. I™™m talking like you will only be able to do 1-2 loads a day if you™™re lucky. 2. Never fully dries clothes. Always have to run another hour long cycle once it™™s first 4 hour cycle is complete. Do not expect to run a cycle and go run errands and come home to finished laundry. 3. The drain is constantly full of water. You must drain it every few cycles or your clothes will never be done. If you live in an apartment, have fun with water all over you floor as the drain is about 3 inches from the floor so there is no room to put a bucket in between. Hope you are strong and can move the unit so you can mop up all the water that gets underneath and behind it. 4. The timer says 1 minute left for about 20 minutes. Good luck opening up the unit prior to the cycle being done. You can™™t override the door lock without unplugging it and that sometimes does not Work. If you buy this (which I highly do not recommend) never start running loads when you are short on clothes or towels. This is the least time effective thing on the planet. Don™™t buy this if you want a low energy bill either haha. Holy cow this inefficient thing is constantly on. Overall: stay away unless you want to do constant maintenance and have a large supply of underwear

The washer/ dryer combo is compact and very sleek looking. The down sides of this appliance is it has to be used with HE detergent which is not advertised by the retailer and the dryer is a condenser dryer which is also not advertised by the retailer. The drying time on one load is 2-3 hours and the clothes still come out damp.

This is actually the worst machine I have ever had the displeasure of using. I have been stuck with this sorry excuse for a washing machine for over a year and it has been nothing but endless torture to use. Plus, it takes anywhere from 3-6 hours to wash and dry anything. At this current moment, my clothes have been drying for FOUR hours and they are somehow more soaked than after the wash. I have tried everything to fix it and nothing is working. I don't wish this appliance on my worst enemy. If you are reading this- Save your sanity and go find something else to buy.

I am so happy to have this compact all in one washer dryer. Perfect for my empty nest. I would give it 5 stars, but it is a bit noisy during the spin cycle. I replaced the extra sink in my master bathroom and I find it very convenient. I love not having to move the laundry from the washer to the dryer and the extra time doesn't bother me. I do find that an extra 30 minutes on the dry cycle helps with the dampness and hopefully adjusting the size of the load will help with that minor frustration. Highly recommend.

We have been using this unit since November. It has been nothing but trouble. Service has been performed multiple times. First issue was unit adding water during dry cycle. Second issue, unit overheating. Both fixed. Now same issues are coming back. Plus occasionally leaking. GE will not repkace unless we have five service calls. In meantime we have a useless machine. Do not recommend at all.

I've read the reviews this was the best one four stars no other one comes close. Although I wanted silver I settled for the white because of the high reviews. I've used it four or five times now and it works excellent it dries thoroughly and quickly. I put on a quick wash with normal dry and my clothes were done a workout fit and a nightgown and some socks in an hour and 50 minutes completely dry the waistband too. I don't know where people get the idea that this doesn't dry well it definitely takes longer than a regular dryer but it's so convenient it's unbelievable and the machine is so easy to use and figure out. I love it I had a Magic Chef before and I had problems with it so far if this thing keeps going the way it is I'll be in heaven when it comes to wash and dry it's a beautiful machine if you're hesitating don't it doesn't vibrate it's nice and quiet. I did connect it to a standpipe I had installed instead of hooking it into it a dishwasher drain that's how my Magic Chef was hooked in before and it caused problems. I think, but I'm good to go now thank you for reading my long review but I was geeked to write it I'm so happy five stars all day long. One more thing I chose this unit because it says zero clearance on the sides and I have zero clearance because it's mounted underneath my counter I have one inch on the top and about 6 in the back so I didn't want to have any overheating problems like I say I'm very satisfied. This machine is completely inefficient. It takes 5 hours to wash and 5 hours to dry. And the load comes out still wet. We clean the gasket after every wash. We do not overload the machine, but rather use small loads. Do not waste your time or money. This machine is not worth it.

Not sure about customer service,but I figured the problem on my own. The door was just hard to open, there's no signal to open door which was confusing in itself (sound or wording). Seems to be working fine though.

I will try to be brief as I explain why your assistance, comments and suggestions will be very much appreciated. Recently I purchased a GE washer and dryer combo, including delivery and setup from Home Depot™™s online store. From the point of delivery and setup the experience has been all downhill. By design, the dryer is not actually going to dry clothing unless the unit is set to run continuously for 5-7 hours, on the average, or till infinity which will still probably not happen. But, the motor could overheat and cause a fire. Since the delivery, I have learned there are literally thousands of complaints online about the unit because the dryer fails to ™dry™ clothing; plus motor, condenser and heat exchange issues, among others. There is not a whisper or even mentioned of any of these issues in the marketing documents or for that matter, the manual. The manual fails to provide complete operational and maintenance information or warnings of the many potential fire and health hazard such as mold and mildew. The Troubleshooting Tips refer to numerous reasons why your garments will not dry but never tells you how to prevent them from happening. There is no mention of the impact the long running time will have on your water and electric bill. Or how the motor runs under stress and has no emergency shutoff for when it potentially overheats and causes a fire. Or where the external lint filter is, or the internal lint drainage trap, or the pump filter, or the airflow ducts, or how to maintain them. There is no tool provided for the internal lint trap or instructions on how to access it. There is no prior warning or adequate information in the manual about a dryer water drainage hose or the requirement to manually drain the large amount of water that accumulates and that has to be drained regularly, even when the unit is not in use. There is no marketing product information given or information in the manual to explain exactly what a condenser dryer is, how it works or how to maintain it. It would be helpful and important to know beforehand there is never a time in which water is not injected into the washer or dryer; which is why the dryer will essentially never dry your garments. My order confirmation and purchase recent are on Home Depot letterhead. Home Depot has a return policy that applies to major appliances purchased at the store or delivered by the store that covers visual damages and defects only and within 48 hours. I purchased the appliance online. The Home Depot online sales return policy states ™In the event you wish to send a product back to us™¦ you may return it™¦ for a refund or exchange™¦within 90 from the date of purchase. There is no online return exclusion which prevents the return of the appliance to the store. GE Appliances has no return policy, but takes the position the ™as long as it works as designed, incorrectly or not, it can not be returned™. The GE Appliances service tech told me that he tells everyone to just put it out at the curb and let someone carry it off and that there are thousands of class action lawsuits filed against GE Appliances and their combo units because none of them work properly, but they work according to design; unsafe and a health risk with a lot of mechanical and operating issues.

I am very happy with this machine. Perfect for limited space and easy install. Only need water in and out. 120v outlet. And there is a WIFI adapter but you only get status and the ability to turn off. The fact that it is small you have to adjust your washing style. Not for a big family or large items. I have washed a comforter or maybe two pair of jeans. What I like the most is start it and forget it. If you use high speed spin be ready for a lot of shaking. Would I buy it again. YES! Lots of settings and does a good job cleaning.

I need to know the purchasing date, contractor™™s business name, phone number, email and address. Now I know why your wife dislikes it. The dryer takes longer, makes the room moisture and the dusty, and the washed stuff can™™t be blown away from the clothes! The other thing is that it separates hot and cold water, which makes it hard to use the hoses to conduct water. The dryer is useless, I can pay much less to buy a washer!!! I™™m regretting to buy it from you and I have not to try it and don™™t know yet if it works properly for washing only!!!

Perfect for small spaces

I live in a tiny house. No 240 electricity available. This is 110, very small, compact! It fits in my closet area. I had to run plumbing and a 110 for this unit. Does not have wifi. Why would I need wifi for washing clothes? Basic, not super quiet, but I watch tv and I don't need to turn up to hear it. Dries beautifully! Take out, if slightly damp, finishes drying in minutes. But I can put into dryer and dry completely if I want. Happy with it!

This unit is perfect for a small condo with one to two persons! It took the place of two appliances, saving much needed space, and works as reported in all reviews & videos that I researched before purchasing. I am still exploring all of the different settings for washing w/drying, washing only, & drying only. I'm glad I bought it :-)

GFQ14ESSN1WW Serial Number: FA352355N has a terrible smell since first installed Nov 2025. We can no longer use the dryer portion of the unit and must pull the clothes out and utilize another dryer. Smell is making us sick. Unit was installed by the retailer in which we purchased it. This does not represent GE products which we are used to.
